By downloading, registering, or using the Depot Khmer mobile application and associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

1.1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, maintain, and optimize our classifieds marketplace services, process subscriptions, and communicate with you.

A. Information You Provide to Us

  • Account and Profile Information: When you register an account, log in (including via Google Sign-In or phone number link), or update your settings, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and profile picture avatar.
  • Listing and Marketplace Data: When you create a post to sell or advertise an item, we collect the details you provide. This includes item title, pricing, category, description, product attributes, transaction location details, and uploaded media files (photos and images).
  • Support and Feedback Communications: When you submit inquiries through our feedback form, Telegram support bot, or direct email, we collect your message content, subject, and contact details (email or phone) to handle your request.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and Connection Information: We collect information from the device you use to access the app, including IP address, operating system version, hardware model, unique device identifiers, and active session status.
  • Usage and Navigation Data: We collect logs of your interactions with our platform. This includes searches performed, categories browsed, items added to your favorites list, and session duration.
  • Network and Connection Logs: Connection timestamps, network carrier, and internet service provider details are logged for authentication security and connection diagnosis.

1.2. Device Permissions Requested

To enable listing features and photo uploads, Depot Khmer requests access to the following device permissions:

  • Camera Permission: Required to take new photos of items you wish to sell directly from within the app.
  • Photo Library/Storage Access: Required to select and upload existing images of products from your gallery to your listing posts.
  • Internet Access: Required for the application to connect to our servers, perform searches, manage listings, and update profile configurations.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device operating system settings, though disabling them may restrict your ability to upload product images or utilize certain features.

1.3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data based on legitimate business interests, contractual obligations, and user consent:

  • Platform Functionality: To display your product listings to prospective buyers, coordinate searches, and update product attributes.
  • Subscription Enforcement: To monitor, parse, and enforce active subscription plan limitations (such as checking if your free tier limit of reach_limit: true has been triggered or verifying your post and image upload limits).
  • Identity and Login Verification: To verify your login tokens and maintain session integrity, preventing unauthorized account takeovers.
  • Customer Communication: To reply to inquiries, send security alerts, and deliver platform notifications.
  • Debugging and Optimization: To detect, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, server timeouts, crash logs, and optimize database indexing.

1.4. Data Public Visibility

Depot Khmer is a public classifieds marketplace.

  • Public Postings: All information inside your listing posts (including titles, product attributes, prices, images, descriptions, item location coordinates/address, and your display name) is immediately visible to any user browsing the app.

Caution: Do not include sensitive, confidential, or private personal credentials (such as financial information, government IDs, or home addresses) in public listing descriptions.

1.5. Information Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information with third-party service providers necessary to operate the application under strict data privacy protocols:

  • Authentication Providers: Google Sign-In SDK is used to authorize Google logins securely.
  • Hosting and Database Services: Secure cloud database and server hosting infrastructure are utilized to store listing data, media uploads, and account identifiers.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required by law, subpoena, or government requests, or to protect the safety, security, and rights of Depot Khmer, its users, or the general public.

1.6. Data Deletion and Retention Policy

A. Data Deletion (In-App & Request)

We support user data autonomy.

  • In-App Account Deletion: You can trigger complete account deletion at any time via the Privacy & Security settings screen in the app.
  • Manual Deletion Request: Alternatively, you can contact support directly at heasonetra27@gmail.com or phone +855 96 509 3594 to request data deletion.
  • Action Taken: Upon deletion confirmation, your account details, profile images, and active listing posts will be immediately and permanently purged from our active databases.

B. Data Retention

We retain personal details as long as your account remains active. Cached or backed-up information may persist in secure archives for a limited period solely for system recovery, auditing, or legal compliance before being completely overwritten.

1.7. Children's Privacy

Depot Khmer does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or the legal minimum age in your jurisdiction). If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

1.8. Policy Changes

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any revisions by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and displaying a notification within the app settings. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
